About the event
Learn the ancient skill of spinning with a drop spindle. For over 9,000 years the yarn, thread, ropes and cord we used were spun on this simple tool. Feel the connection to our ancient matrilineal line as you create one of the most essential materials to human evolution. And perhaps find the start of something new and lovely to help sustain you in these chaotic times.
Workshop fee is $65 and includes handouts, 100 gm of premium Blue Faced Leicester wool, and your very own Wild Moon spindle handmade by yours truly from upcycled CDs!
