What We Do

Centered in the high Mojave Desert of Joshua Tree in Southern California, Wild Moon Fiber Arts seeks to create a community of artists, craftspeople and producers with a passion and dedication to the fiber medium. Currently operating out of my Joshua Tree home and other public venues WMFA offers an opportunity to gather, learn and teach in an atmosphere of respect and support.

One of the primary purposes of Wild Moon is to bring education and information sharing from all corners of the fiber world to our community. Taught by practicing artists in our local community and other , in their fields our goal is to open the doors to a wide variety of techniques and projects via classes, workshops and private instruction.

Check our Events page for current happenings. For private instruction in knitting, crochet, spinning or frame loom weaving please contact Cindy directly via email at cindy@wildmoonfiberarts.com or by private message.

Education

Special Events

Along with our classes, workshops and exhibits we are also looking forward to hosting and/or participating in community events. Think craft fair booths, knitting in public days, charity projects etc. Look for these on our Events page.

With the goal of increasing the visibility of the fiber arts community Wild Moon looks forward to hosting open shows such as the popular Fiber Optix that was held in March of 2022 at the Beatnik Lounge.

We're also exploring the possibility of staging curated pop-up exhibits at various sites around the basin. Watch this space!
